It was another all-time classic race in Indiana as the 108th running of the Indy 500 led to a final lap showdown between arguably the two best oval drivers in the world, as Josef Newgarden and Pato O’Ward left it all on the line, with Newgarden taking victory and becoming the first man to go back-to-back at the 500 since Helio Castroneves in 2002! Joey Barnes joins Steph Wentworth on the Autosport to discuss the wonderful fight for the win between Newgarden and O’Ward and breakdown how O’Ward used strategy and aggression to get back through the field, and the conflicting emotions between the two drivers. 1:19.9	Alexander Rossi and Alex Pillow finished the top five out with Scott McLaughlin coming in in
1:24.8	sixth, Kyle Kirkwood in seventh and Sant Santino Faroochee in eighth.

1:46.4	That was one of the most intense races I've ever had the privilege of covering. It was just immaculate. I think, first of all,
1:52.4	we should talk about the incredible finish to the race, because how did Patto Award come
1:57.6	into play after being so quiet for the majority of the race in the buildup.
2:02.4	And how good was that final fight with Joseph Newgarden?
2:06.6	Well, I mean, one, it was really, really staggering to see how he came back into play.
2:11.3	You look at Potto wasn't maybe quite as strong as what we saw last year, even the year before, right, as a frontrunner.
