Straight away, we are going to bring in my partner in crime, John Wertheim.

John, we had a great conversation that you will be able to listen to later in this episode

with my friend James Blake, and he's shared some things. I think I'm getting a better

grasp of what a tournament director actually does, which was educational. Some fun stuff

there and always a good time with James.

Obviously, it ends in poop jokes at some point when we discuss anything.

John, what stood out to you from Indian Wells,

which I thought had a great ending with Carlos Alcaraz and Igas Viatik taking the titles.

Yeah, Carlos Alcaraz defended his title and Eagle I too. So what's their talk about?

Boy, what an event. I mean, it kind of had everything, right? We got to reserve a little time for

the beekeeper, but we'll sort of sidebar that discussion for now. I never learned so much

about vacuum cleaners and an apiary maintenance. But no, I think, look, I mean, two weeks

ago, we were talking about Carlos Alcaraz and you sort of said, let's not be ridiculous. He's 20

years old. He won two majors, but let's also not ignore what's been obvious, which is since that Cincinnati final, he hasn't been the same player.

Well, guess what? He's back to being the same player. A 20-year-old doesn't usually get in the, what have you done for me lately laid?

But that's kind of where he was. And boy, did he get get back on track and that was in a weird way that was

really pivotal event for him i think when we look back on his career we'll be circling this one

he was terrific um the mojo's back won carlos ferrero is back his winning ways are back i noticed some

small adjustments but i'm sure you can go much deeper on that and then then on the women's side, you know, what's left to say about EGET except I'll give
