The wait for college football is almost over.

Yes, you heard that right and this weekend we will watch

toe meat leather in what is sure to kick off a hell of a college football season.

Now the sport has had more big changes than Madonna's face here recently, which makes predicting what's going to happen even harder.

But at least we've arrived at prediction week here at Cranin Company. And today,

we're going to start with the new look Big 12 of the two biggest brands, Texas and

Oklahoma, are gone to the SEC. But the additions of Utah, Arizona, State, and Colorado

not only save the conference, but but has created a power vacuum at the

top and it might also give us what could be the most competitive conference in the

country this year. Now the big 12 has also had a shift of identity it seems.

Gone are the days where you just used to fling it around,

score a million points, and hope to get a couple stops on defense.
