And since the next time you'll hear from us will be on Tuesday, the morning of their opening night game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, we want to do, despite there being a couple of preseason games left, one tonight against Phoenix. I'll be calling that on playback. Come join me on that. And then back to back again against Golden State. I'd be shocked if our guys played in both of them. Redic had alluded to this game tonight against Phoenix as being sort of a dress rehearsal type of game. And so I would imagine that would be

the game. And then most of the team sits on the second night of that, but we'll see.

But as a result of that, I'd love to sort of take a big picture look at the preseason,

at where we're at. And starting with the Lakers' biggest edition of the offseason, which was

JJ Redick. Where are you at in terms of your initial thoughts on how Redick has handled this preseason?

I think he's handled it well. And in a lot of ways, with more experience of managing the process

than what I might have anticipated, but what totally makes sense based off of

his history as a player. I have not actually seen a lot of game management stuff that made

me take a step back and be like, ah, there it is, right? Like, there's the experience showing.

I will say this, Pete, I meant to bring this up on a pod the other day,

but JJ has looked exceedingly tortured after games when the team has been not playing

to the level that he wants them to, and I appreciate that.
