I'm Dave Kaban, one of the owners at RotoViz.

Tonight, I am going to be talking about 2023 quarterback scoring.

And what we're going to be doing is using a variety of stats

to look at how quarterbacks

compared in 20203

against the last 10 years.

So there's a variety of things we'll be looking at. And I think that this is always a good

exercise to do as we try to think about the value of the quarterback position in comparison

to the other positions in the coming season.

Now, I have prepared a number of tables that those of you watching on YouTube

will be able to see, which I think ought to help move this conversation along.

Those of you that have not checked out the YouTube channel, I would highly

encourage you to do so. A lot of neat visuals that get pulled into these episodes that I think

augment the discussion in a very notable way. So tonight, we are going to start making our way

down the list here of these quarterback metrics and

we will start here with past attempts so the first thing that notes or that stands out to me here when I look at this is we actually have

seen the last two seasons pass attempts be down by the top 12 quarterbacks and I suppose I

should take a step back here and kind of talk about the process that I went through as I kind of filtered things out

to come up with the lists that we're going to be looking at. What I did was I went back into
