episode for you today as Jim Callis from MLB Pipeline. We'll join us later to preview the

2023 MLB draft, where the Mets

have a lot of different selections, especially when you look at their compensatory picks.

So we will get into all of that. I know it's Joe's favorite time of the year, Joe, I promise.

Even when we're done talking to Jim, I'm sure the draft will trickle into the mailbag as well.

But as for the Mets,

since we last spoke, the results were obviously mixed. They lost three out of four to the

Brewers. The Mets pod was there for the only win, an impressive win at that. But then finally,

they take a series and they beat the Giants two out two out of three really should have swept them joe

not to be the glass half full guy but the met's have been playing much better the pitching has been

better as well notably from some of the headline starters here you have to wonder would june

behind them which always seems to torment this team can they finally get things rolling before the All-Star break?

They need to keep rolling. We said this on last week's show that they really need to go on a run before

the break. Otherwise, they'd be looking at the likelihood of being sellers and losing three out of four

to Milwaukee certainly didn't give me the feels that we were trending in the
