Summary

Jim and Greg close out 2023 with the finale of this year's 3 Martini Lunch Awards. Today, they give our their prestigious choices for Person of the Year and Turncoat of the Year. Then they finish with predictions for 2024.

On Person of the Year, Jim looks to the 2024 presidential field for his first selection before adding a second, less known choice based on his powerful reporting overseas this year. Greg chooses a couple of GOP lawmakers who could end up having a big role in 2024.

For Turncoat of the Year, Jim chooses someone who not only had a bad year but it ending it on a very ugly note. Meanwhile, Greg names an entire movement that it curiously silent these days.

Finally, they offer predictions for the coming year. Initially, they both have decidedly pessimistic outlooks for 2024, but Jim ends the discussion with a surge of hope for Western Civilization.

Happy New Year! There will be no podcast on New Year's Day. Our usual 3 Martini Lunch format returns on Tuesday, January 2.
