0:00.0	Welcome to Intuitive Astrology with Molly McCord. Thank you so much for joining me today as we're going to discuss the energetics of the Lionsgate Portal, as well as the significance of this energy as it is coming onto our planet and supports our evolutionary journey.
0:20.1	The Lionsgate Portal, as we call it, is associated
0:23.5	with an astronomical event that relates to Sirius. Now, Sirius is a fixed star, it's known as
0:32.7	the Dog Star, located at 14 degrees of cancer in our solar system. So that means that when we were in
0:41.5	cancer season as the sun was moving through cancer, it made its annual conjunction to
0:48.0	Sirius at 14 degrees of cancer. And here we are a few weeks, almost a month later, when now the energy of Sirius is
0:58.1	separating from our solar sun, and we start to see it rising on the eastern horizon. Now, this is
1:07.5	called helical rising when you can see with your bare eyes the object on the eastern
1:15.8	horizon.
1:16.6	That means it's close enough that we can see without needing binoculars or telescopes.
1:22.3	And because Sirius is known as our spiritual sun, it is bright and vibrant. It is huge in comparison to our sun.
1:32.1	It is about double the size of our sun. And it has this very potent dynamic energy that streams
1:42.6	onto earth more directly during this time. So it already had its annual
1:49.3	conjunction with our son when our son was in cancer. It separates out. We start to see it
1:55.0	rising across the eastern horizon. And because it's connected to an annual cycle, it's also associated with
2:04.3	what has occurred on our planet during this time of year. Now more specifically, Sirius was
2:10.9	worshipped by the ancient Egyptians as they followed the cycles of the sun and the stars and the moon as an ongoing lifestyle practice
2:23.2	and many of their gods are associated with the sun, the stars, and the constellations.
2:30.2	So in late July until mid-August, it was noticed how serious would rise up at the time of year
2:40.4	that would signal the start of the farming season, of a new agricultural cycle.
2:48.5	And this was very important to the Egyptians, not only in terms of their
2:54.6	lifestyle, but in the energy cycles that they experienced. This is also associated with the goddess
