I think that what this question taught me was sometimes I have to not just get my feet into the question writer's shoes, but get my whole body into their clothing and their skin.

We are going to combine a few ideas.

So last year, in case our shandies remember, we did a best of 2022 episode to wrap the year.

And that was mainly based on the fact that I was in France and you were still here.

We were separate unexpectedly.

And so we needed to kind of have something.

And I ended up really loving what we came up with, which was a roundup of our best Q&A questions of the year. But since we are in person this year, I also wanted to add on something else. So we are going to do best of 2023 Q&A questions, but also a favorites of 2023, like sort of 2023 in review. Best of. Best of. And we pulled our shandies over on Instagram to submit questions. So we're going to

just sort of combine the two today. So good? Great. Sounds fun. Shall we get going? Yeah.

Does it actually sound fun or are you just bearing with it? No, it sounds good. I like reviewing

years. It's a long, long pastime of mine. All right. So first question, favorite book or books of 2023. Do you want to go first, Andy? Sure. So my favorite book was a little dower, but it was good. It's very you. It is very me. I read a few dower books this year. This was the best dower book. You, in fact, just read dower books mainly. No, no, no, that's not true. Harrowing nonfiction is your main category.

Yes, that is my favorite genre. But it was Dispatches by Michael Hare. Okay. And he was a real

correspondent during the Vietnam War. It's to me the most, it's the quintessential getting to the heart of what

the Vietnam War was from the soldier's perspective and from the perspective of someone who was

really in it, like in it. And it's amazing. It sort of reads like a novel, but it's also nonfiction.

If you're interested in the Vietnam War or just interested in the human experience in its extreme

form, fantastic book. Tremendous book. Wow. Okay. Very nice, Sandy. It's funny. I find it's funny how with

books we don't communicate at all. No. We don't discuss our books at all. Like books come in,

books go out and we're reading different books. We never read the same books. We never
