It’s safe to say that 2021 was another wild year for many of us. For the self storage industry, it’s been another record year of growth and opportunity. Today we’re kicking back and looking at this past year and all the growth we’ve had as a self storage industry, and as a company who focuses heavily on self storage. There’s been no shortage of self storage investing opportunities, but as with any growing company, there have been a multitude of hurdles we’ve had to overcome. We’ve had to pass on a ton of deals that didn’t pan out. We’ve been working to build the company while also running it. The self storage industry has seen some of the largest institutional investment firms in the world step into the industry. And all we seem to hear from the talking heads around the world is that self storage is THE asset to have. What a crazy difference this is from just 10 years ago haha.
