2019 was a bitch, a biatch, a year full of crazy, wrapped in a bunch of stupid, seasoned with a whole lot of WTF.

And today we're going to take a listen to some of my favorite moments from some of my favorite guests who joined me here on the podcast.

They kind of encapsulated so much of what 2019 was about.

So let's start with the conversation I had with Rick Wilson.

Now, Rick is a Republican strategist and the author of the best seller, everything Trump touches dies.

Yeah, that's the title of the book folks.

Now, we tried to diagnose what real Republicans are supposed to do in the era of Donald Trump.

All the things that you and I have been in trenches and battles over for many, many years, sometimes,

most times going against Democrats, but sometimes going against fellow Republicans to get it right.

Right, you know, all those ideals and those virtues and those values that that defined modern day conservatism.

And our goal and our hope coming out of the 2016 election would be how do we now, you know, redo this, upgrade it, make it better for the 21st century and beyond, right?

Then along comes Trump.

And all of that's thrown out.

So the question now becomes what does a Republican, a Republican, because the party thing is just kind of shot the hell at this point.

Right.
