Caruso coming off a two-way and a sign in trade so Antony Davis could get his trade bonus and

The Lakers could use all their cap space first and then execute the trade as an over the cap team

This is the first agreement we had Caruso signed a three-year deal for 12.2 million with the Lakers

He had to do that because for a sign in trade which was necessary to get enough outgoing salary for the Lakers

You have to go at least three years the last two years of that three-year 12.2 million dollar deal

Were non-guaranteed he did get an early guarantee date though from the Hawks where he'll not be sent

There's a three-way deal between the Pell's Hawks and Lakers

Which made sense with the Hawks having some cap space still to use and being the eventual destination for that number four

Pick that initially came from the Lakers then Kawai Leonard returned to Toronto on a max deal

But only a one plus one to go back to Toronto with the timeline lining up with guys like Caliari

Surjabaka and Marcus O'Hool who opted in Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant after a bit of a dance agreed to teen up on

Three plus ones in Brooklyn both for their full maxes Clay Thompson returned to Golden State

But was the first of these warriors for agents to get a no-trade clause and also got a four plus one at the full max

Five years 189 million dollars there Jimmy Butler found the market a little bit more tepid for his services with no team

Really with room to add him as a second star ended up returning to Philly for five years

150 million which was 10 million dollars more than he could have gotten on a four-year max elsewhere in theory

But no one actually offered him that four-year max interestingly enough

And then Tobias Harris also returned on the same deal five years 150 to Philly finding a

Assinarily tepid market as did Butler both those guys did get player options on the last year though
