Welcome back to KaFaruCast everyone. Frank and I have just completed what we're

going to call the 12 days of Mule Deer hunting here in Colorado. We're back.

We are back. Back to civilization. Yeah. Yeah. It's been an adventure. I think

how we're gonna do this is Frank and I hiked in but we didn't hunt together. He

was a couple two, I don't know one and a half to four miles from me I guess

depending upon where he was at. So Frank will go over his day one and I'll do mine

and we'll go through the whole journey from day one until I guess day 12, day 10 of

hunting the first trip but 12 days in we came in a couple early came back and

Frank didn't have to lick his wounds. I lick the mine and then we went back in with

seven days of gear on our back to try and get me one and luckily got one on the

second day. So you got some wounds, didn't you? Okay. Yeah. We'll cover that I

did. I got fungus on my hands. I got an infection on my hand. Yeah. It wasn't

good. So we'll just start on Thursday evening. We hiked in two days or a day and

a half before season. So Frank, after you left where we dropped me off or

whatever, what happened? It's kind of just goes all into a blur after a while. It was a

fun hunt. I got to say it's probably been one of the tougher ones compared to

what we were seeing during scouting season up until when season actually started.

I definitely was seeing a lot more deer throughout scouting than when opening day

kind of came around. But yeah, we parted ways there. You stopped at your

glassing point and I moved on to to set up my camp that first day we got there. I

think right after I got camp set up, we had a pretty good thunderstorm blow in

there with lightning and a bunch of shit. I took a nap and I woke up to a
