As the age of the Revolution changed the cultural setting for Christendom, there was a new push to get our bearings as a faith movement. For almost 1400 years the world of Christendom had enjoyed being the privileged default of culture.

I have been to a camp meeting. You have been to a camp meeting.

2:25.0

Pretty recently. Some new about you, every day Brent Millions. My good friend Abby, her dad's Baptist church. They had me come and take some pictures.

2:37.0

That's cool. Love it.

2:40.0

These camp meeting revivals, back in the day, I don't know what it was like when you went there, but these revivals became a time for denominations to come together, enjoy fellowship, worship, and preaching.

2:50.0

Such a focus and desire to experience true confession and true repentance would lead to great times of spiritual revival and movement. That's pretty much what it was.

3:00.0

Yeah, you felt that? That's kind of cool. Love that.

3:26.0

3:37.0

What's the beauty? Where's the, quite literally, where's the Holy Spirit in all of this?
