Time for another edition of Fighting for the Faith.

It is the last day of 2008, December 31st.

I guess it's, you know, this week, you know,

right before the turn of the year, everyone has their like year-end review

shows, right? You know, the year-end review and the news, the year and review and entertainment.

Well, we're going to have the year and review and

apostasy.

We're going to look through the major bifups, Christian and non-Christian even of 2008 of the things that we discovered over the course of a year and kind of give

you a state of just how off the rails certain segments of the Christian Church is. And so today's our year in review. What do you think?

Is that a good idea, John? It's a good idea. It could be entertaining though. Yes. So, you know, some of these stories you will have heard if you're if you're a regular

listener to Pirate Christian Radio fighting for the faith even issues etc they've

covered some of the stuff and some of this stuff it may be shocking to you you may

have never heard it before. But let's say that 2008, as far as spiritual health in the Christian Church in the United States is hitting all time lows.

It's the craziness that is going on in the name of Christianity today shows a complete

lack of understanding of the scripture, complete lack of understanding of law and gospel,

complete lack of understanding of sound doctrine, what is appropriate for Christians anymore.

We've, you know, we've gone, in our attempts to be relevant, we've made ourselves look stupid.

In our attempt, you know, in our lack of discernment, things have happened in 2008

that just would make your hair curl and the reality is unless God grants us reformation, 2009 is already turning out to be a new

low watermark, you know, guarantee you, you know, by the time we do this show a year from now,

the stuff that we're going to be doing it on, you just when you think it can't get any worse.

Believe me when it, when I tell you... you just when you think it can't get any worse.
