Previously, Alessandra worked in private equity at Blackstone, covering sectors ranging from consumer brands to software.

Prior to that, she worked in startups in the US and Europe and in M&A at Goldman Sachs.

She's also the founder of Bright Mentors and Ed Tech

non-profit teaching coding and science in secondary schools through a network of technology

professionals. But before we dive in today's amazing episode with Alessandra, I would like to say

Now, can we start by hearing a little bit about yourself and your background and how you made it into the venture industry?

Of course.

So I'm originally from Switzerland.

I grew up across various places in there.

I started getting into entrepreneurship early on in a very spontaneous way.

So, you know, reselling children items in front of large exhibitions,

making quite a high markup and eventually, like,

accumulating quite a ton of cash without even wanting it, right?
