Other investments he has been involved with at Baldurton include CityMapper, Top Ten, Scoot and Archify.

And prior to joining Ballston, Rob worked for Google in London as a manager in the European Strategy and Operations Team.

can you start by telling us a little bit about yourself and how you made it into the venture industry?

Yes, I guess I'm somewhat of an accidental venture capitalist, as most of us are.

So I started my career. I did a statistics degree, look briefly at going into that area,

decided against it, went to work for Bain consulting and spent

five years there.

I'm doing a lot of work with financial services, as you tend to do in London, MBA from

Incead, and then went to Google.
