Well, we love a car reveal day, don't we?

And we certainly got one with the unveiling of the Audi Q6 and SQ6 on the next generation PPE platform,

which we know a little bit about because it's the sibling

car to the Porsche McCann. We'll get this out of the way. First of all, this car has been

massively delayed. But I think it's well worth waiting for because it's got some amazing

specs. I think it moves EVs forward in some respects. And I'll tell you why, because Audi's

introduced the 2025, as

the model year will be, Q6 and SQ6 Eatrons, the first Audi's built on Volkswagen Group's

Premium Platform Electric. We'll call it PPE, and it'll be the first to be manufactured at the

Audi plant there in Ingolstadt, and Germany, and the Q6 series will directly compete in the

electric luxury SUV space. And it's got some fantastic competition, the likes of the Cadillac

Lyric, the Genesis, Electric GV70 and more as well. This vehicle, and for my YouTube

viewers, I pop it on screen right now, is positioned between the Q4 E-Tron, which is their

version of maybe an ID4, but it's a very nice car, the Q4-E-Ron and the Q8-E-Tron, which is the

new name for the old, just E-Tron.

So that's where we go with the even numbers in the Audi lineup. This is the Q6 E-Tron.

It's going to be a very, very popular car for many segments, offering ample space, 114.1 inch or

290 centimetre wheelbase, generous rear leg room cargo capacity in the back is 19 cubic feet or 540 litres behind the rear seats going up to 54 cubic feet or 1,500 litres if you fold the back seats down.

A small front trunk is in there as well, another 2 cubic feet or 56.6 litres of storage.
