| 0:21.6 | podcast. I've got a special inaugural brief for you this morning that is so very full of news, |
| 0:27.6 | shaping America and the world. In just a couple of hours, Donald J. Trump will be the 47th |
| 0:34.5 | president of these United States. By the way, only the second man to have ever |
| 0:38.4 | done this to serve two non-consecutive terms. The first fellow to do it was President |
| 0:43.4 | Grover Cleveland all the way back in 1893. We can expect today to be a frenzy of activity |
| 0:50.6 | with Mr. Trump promising about 60 different things that he said he would do on day one |
| 0:55.1 | from the border to lowering inflation to ending the war in Ukraine. The Associated Press reports |
| 1:01.5 | that to do so, he is going to issue 100 or so executive orders by the end of the day today. |
| 1:07.8 | And that will set a pretty dramatic new course for the nation and the world. |
| 1:12.3 | So today we are going to cover a range of those executive orders, along with things that you |
| 1:16.6 | should expect to see this week. And with that is our foundation, we are going to come back to |
| 1:21.7 | this in the days and weeks and months ahead to, well, come back for a bit of a progress report. |

| 1:28.7 | piece of advice. Do bundle up, folks. It is going to be very cold in D.C. today. Back so cold that |
| 1:35.3 | Mr. Trump had to move his inauguration inside of the U.S. Capitol, although some say it's not really |
| 1:40.4 | the weather that is prompting this move, but rather a mysterious threat to his life. |
| 1:45.2 | I will keep you posted on that. |
| 1:47.1 | But in any case, it is going to be cold out there today, just like it was, by the way, for Grover Cleveland. |
| 1:52.4 | He faced a nasty snowstorm on his inaugural day as well. |
| 1:56.8 | So let's start with what is likely to grab the most headlines this morning and into tomorrow. |
