Summary
Most people do not miss their goals or fail to achieve their dreams through a lack of knowledge or not knowing what to do. Very often, they know what to do but instead choose to not do it, not do it well, or not do it consistently enough to make any impact. In this episode, Dave discusses how to close that gap so that you can become unstoppable in all that you do.

| 0:00.0 | Welcome to Game Changer Life. I'm Dave Anderson. Let's talk about how to close the gap between knowing and doing. Between knowing and doing. I'm of the |
| 0:23.5 | firm belief after holding thousands now of seminars over the last 19 years in 17 different countries, |
| 0:35.0 | 120 to 150 a year they add up over time. |
| 0:38.3 | I'm of the firm belief that most people who are not getting to where they want to go, |
| 0:44.3 | they do not suffer for lack of knowledge. They suffer because they don't do what they know. |
| 0:49.3 | Now, obviously there are exceptions to that. Sometimes we don't know. But I believe overall, |
| 0:56.5 | the majority of people aren't held back because they don't know what to do. They know what to do. |
| 1:02.2 | They choose not to do it or not to do it well or not to do it consistently enough to make a difference. |
| 1:08.8 | I mean, losing weight is an example. Not getting in shape |
| 1:11.7 | is an example. I mean, we could go on and on, not following a process as an example. It's not that |
| 1:16.6 | they don't know the process. They know the process. They choose to cheat it. They want to shortcut it. |
| 1:22.1 | Okay? They want to kink it a little bit there. So there's this gap between knowing and doing that if you want to live the |
| 1:28.3 | unstoppable life, if you want to live the game changer life, which is about being unstoppable, |
| 1:33.1 | you've got to close that gap. You've got to close the gap. In fact, you know, if you look at the |
| 1:37.8 | four groups that we talk about and that I have outlined in my book, Unstoppable, Undertakers, |
| 1:43.1 | caretakers, Playmakers, Game Changers, I mentioned in the book, and I've mentioned in previous book, Unstoppable, Undertakers, Caretakers, Playmakers, Game Changers. |
| 1:44.8 | I mention in the book, and I've mentioned in previous episodes, that very often these people |
| 1:50.0 | in each group aren't differentiated because they have different levels of experience or different |
| 1:55.2 | levels of talent or different levels of knowledge or education. In fact, sometimes the people |
| 2:00.2 | and the less desirable groups have more |
| 2:02.6 | experience or even more talent than the playmaker or game changer. What the difference really amounts to |
| 2:08.7 | is that the game changer does these things. They know to do the things. They bring the discipline, |
