If you ever wondered what the wrath of God was looked like, fully flushed out like it seems like you have the cross which is where the wrath of God ultimately resides and then you have if you want to know what you've been spared you can look at Jahu and be like this is what you had coming if it wasn't for Jesus.

Yeah, he's been on quite the rampage and he and as we'll see jumping here in the chapter 10 he's not done. He's got a lot more rampaging to do before before he's finished.

But yeah, pretty grotesque bloody ending to chapter 9 where Jezebel gets thrown out the window and then

mostly devoured by the dogs on the streets.

So we're going to transition from that bloody scene to another bloody scene.

And this one's going to deal with the 70 sons of Ahab in Samaria,

which is how the chapter starts out.
