Good to be back. I made a quick trip to Ethiopia and back. It's about 30 hours to get there,

spend a few days, 30 hours to come back. But we were singing a song a minute ago,

all my life you have been faithful.

All my life you have been so, so good.

And I've seen the faithfulness of God because when I got back off that plane, which was

the night before, so is, today's Wednesday, right? Monday night. So I got off the plane Monday night,

and I had a high fever, I felt sick. I woke up the next day. There was blood in my throat,

and I just thought, you know, I'm, I got something bad. but God's faithful.

And I'm happy to be here.

So thank you, Lord.

So we're in Second Chronicles, and we are in chapter 20.

I'm going to be bold and say it that I want to get through the next three chapters because those are some of the bad guys

before we get to another really great guy. We are still dealing with Jahashafat. So this is one of the

good guys, but then it gets really bad. Then it gets good.

But we're in chapter 20. Father, we thank you for your word. Thank you, Lord, that you're faithful to keep your covenant with us.

That every promise we can rely on and you have been faithful and so good to us in so many ways. You know exactly what we're

facing, what we're dealing with individually, and you care. And so, Father, I pray that we would be

at ease in your presence and take rest in your promises. In Jesus' name. Amen. You've probably noticed,

if you're a student of scripture, that there's some overlap between First and Second Kings

and First and Second Chronicles, that the writer of Chronicles probably has the record of First and Second Kings at his disposal
