Cautionary tale, I was just in Santa Cruz, California, a week, week and a half ago.

And I told you, I was walking the beach, and I saw a bunch of a pod of orcas, and I followed them.

And then the next day, Tuesday, October 14th, a surfer named Isabella Orduna.

Santa Cruz reported an otter biting her foot and then refusing to get off her surfboard for about 20 minutes.

You know, I've seen those otters hop on boats and stuff like that guy, but they don't usually, they seem like they're friendly though.

Maybe they're not friendly. Yeah, they're not. Okay. All right. Speaking about her encounter, she recalled feeling a nip on her foot before she waved down a nearby swimmer for assistance. She was bleeding. And apparently this otter, they track him. He's got a chip in him.

I think the otter's kind of chip.

Yeah.

He's otter number 841 and it is apparently a repeat offender.

He was doing this a couple of years ago, harassing surfers, as early as 2023.

Go ahead. I've never heard of otters being dicks.

Yeah, because the videos show those otters jumping up on like boats and like just hanging out with people.

I've seen that. I've seen a lot of those videos recently, right?

I kayak. Well, I haven't done it a lot of time. A kayak, you know, a little river water up in the western part of the state.

And they just look cute.

I never, never pictured them as being aggressive.
