Look at our guy, Deky Matsuyama's at minus nine today, buddy. We're out the gates. He's got his mind on the

WM. He's locking it in. Locking it in. All right. I think I'm finally coming around to getting

interested in the Super Bowl.

It's weird to me how this played out this week.

I didn't get a sense that whether it's our audience or even just the general coverage. Is it just because I don't know.

I don't know what it doesn't have a luster to it this year. I'm not trying to, I mean, I know we're all going to be watching come Sunday.

I think it's just because, you know, the NFL, it's a product, the ratings are going to go down and they made all the wrong choices as a league, as you can tell.

It's just getting worse. I think it's actually because on Monday we had a scheduled day. Then Gus decided

to blow up the early week news cycle. So we're focusing on Gus's selfishness and deciding to retire

in February out of nowhere instead of maybe, you know, doing that a couple months ago, or the

standoff at the university, however you want to put it. But that ate up a few days this week. And typically Super Bowl week, you start off on a Monday and you're taking the plane off. And it's smooth sailing from there. And you check in on it as the week goes along. But because that got torpedoed, here we are. Back half of the week. We've had a couple of hours and segments about it. Well, you and I have talked a little bit about it as the week has gone on. I'm even talking about the national coverage, which I think is interesting. Like, I don't get the sense that, you know, I don't know, sometimes it is the matchup. Look, I went through a stretch and you probably remember it as well, where the Super Bowl was anticlimactic. And then we had a run where we couldn't have been luckier.

Every Super Bowl that was played for a stretch

seemed to come down to the wire in the fourth quarter, last possession.
