Matt, what did you think of this week's reading?

Well, I mean, I'm really mad at you for making me read this book that made me sad.

Seriously, though, you know, it's extremely intense. Um, very sad. We'll talk about the sadness, how well the sadness works, how great a character Wolf is, um, how everything was orchestrated. There's a lot, there's actually a lot of interesting stuff to talk about this week. Oh, yeah. Not just related to Wolf's death specifically, but like,

how everything is situated regarding this massacre. Um, and I think there's also going to be some interesting stuff to talk about, uh, toward the end when we get to Jack visiting his friend,

Richard Sloat.

Yeah, no, I agree.

It's, you know, this is one of, I think, the shortest sections we've done page count-wise so far,

but it does feel like one of the biggest, most stuffed episodes that we have to cover here.

There's a lot.

There's a lot going on in this episode.

I think there's a lot at saying. I think we're starting to maybe get a clear picture of what this book is trying to say about a great many things.

And it's a wild ride.

I think one of the big things to me, too, is just how absolutely kinetic the big action sequence in the middle of this week's reading is is like it's just there's it's just fantastically tense writing from beginning to end yeah yeah you're right
