This week on the show, the Talisman continues as we conclude part two, the road of trials

by covering chapters 15 through 19.

A lot of stuff happens in this week's reading.

But of course, the biggest thing we're all thinking about is the introduction of everyone's favorite character, Wolf. Matt, what did you

think of this week's reading? Well, as much as I've been enjoying the book so far, I think the

introduction of the character of Wolf sort of step things up and notch for me. This is just delightful

and fun. And then it takes

this amazing turn into being extremely creepy. And I just love everything about it. I wrote a lot

of notes this week. That's good. I'm glad. I'm very glad. And I can't wait to talk to you about

this because I agree with you. I say this further in the script, but I'll go ahead and just put it out

here now. I think, and this is a untested opinion, I have no numbers to back this up. But I think

when people think fondly of this book, when they look back and remember their experience with this book,

90% of what they're remembering, I think, is the character of Wolf because he's just so fun and endearing and delightful and creepy and everything that makes a fun Stephen King

character. And, you know, this is not the first time or the last time we'll see a character like Wolf in a Stephen King story.

He likes these kind of, you know, not all up there in the head, but really large and intimidating, but also very kind and sweet characters that have that have specific sayings that they repeat
