All right. We've got things to do today busy today. So we'll have some news about the golf tournament today and kind of get all that worked out. That's it.

It's good. It's good stuff. Jared verse is going to join us on the program today on the Jeff Cameron show. Jared verse.

Talented young man who had what 14 and a half sacks and just 15 games while at Albany is listed at 250 pounds will fill some big shoes at defense event for Florida state.

Somewhere in the neighborhood of 40 programs sought to bring in Jared verse included amongst those were Texas Southern cow Oklahoma LSU Michigan and notably for us Miami and Florida.

But screw them. He chose Florida state. Woohoo. And that is a really good thing. So obviously we celebrated that moment when we got the transfer portal notice and and we've already seen the introductory.

I wasn't ready for it. So you know, hey, the point is, you know, I think I think we saw that we celebrated that but then the more you really listen and and think to you know, I talked to him today.

So you do that. You really get excited because man, he is focused. He's committed. He's a guy that is a guy that I think is going to have an instant impact. Now the problem for Jared verse, I guess, is expectations.

He's on his own, which are high. But those of the fan base, given what we've lost in the way of germane Johnson who was, you know, the defensive player of the year in this conference. So that's a toughie. That is a toughie.

Oh, Gator Kirk. You're welcome. Right. You know, we're going to Lucy Goosey on a Friday and I'll hit the chat. Twitter email. You name it. We get after it. It's all right there.

But yes, we nailed it yesterday on the show twice this week. We've been two and O three and O. I mean, we have straight up done the thing this week. Or again, didn't just cover Tom. I don't know if you saw gets UCLA, but they won outright. And I made mention that if you felt good, you might want to sprinkle a little pizza money on that their money line yesterday towards the end of the show.

And they did they pulled it out held UCLA to I think they're lowest scoring output of the year. Oh, I'm heartbroken for McCronon. And then on the ice. There you go. It was one to one after two between Minnesota and Toronto. If they were going to score a bunch of goals, you would have known by the second intermission. I said, ooh, easy street. Sometimes the third can get wily, but I didn't get wily enough.

Rocking chair game and that nice. So back to back to our friend Jared verse who will be speaking tonight and an event for the Tallahassee Boys and Girls Club. And good for him. By the way, that's a wonderful organization. And I've worked with them before. And we certainly are aware of all that they do and it's near and dear to my heart is somebody who worked in essence in the foster care system.

Long many moons ago when I was not a famous talk show host Tom. This is what that's what I did. I can 1974.

Famous talk show long time. It's true. My fame has Jimmy Carter and decades. It is true.

But but anyhow, I it's always you know, it's it's good to hear that. So he's going to do that along with a couple of other teammates. And we had a good fortune to talk to him.

By the way, rising spirit was partly involved in this and helped facilitate the conversation. Good to see for to stay getting organized as it goes to as it pertains to NIL. It needs to you know.
