This week on the show, we finally meet our friendly neighborhood, purpose doctors, and learn

all about, well, the plot of this whole book.

Chapters 17 through 19 are just incredibly important and incredibly heavy exposition chapters,

Matt, and I'm really curious about

what you thought of them. They were very, very fun. It's a very fun way of doing exposition.

I was very surprised by the fact that we, you know, magically ascended through the building and all,

like, like all the stuff that happens is, it's so magical. And, and you know knowing that this is connected to the

dark tower series was also kind of exciting to me because it's like oh is this is this the

metaphysical superstructure of the dark tower universe i mean the i think the answer is basically yes

because it's what we're being told um so there's a there's a ton of interesting, like, metaphysics to talk about today, actually.

These couple chapters, I think, are a poster child for the idea that there's no such thing as boring exposition.

It's just that bad exposition is boring.

You know, I think there's a lot, like King kind of halts the book for two chapters to just fill us in on everything that's been going on.

But I think he is peppering it with this this magic. He's also peppering it with character moments. It's just it's full of all this different stuff that allows you to go through the exposition chapters, not feeling like you're being pounded with exposition. Right. Because there's,
