is my colleague and co-host, and we're looking at Ukraine.

All lies on Syria, but Ukraine is extremely in the news after the meeting of President

elect Trump, President Macron, and President Zelensky in Paris during

before and we can presume during and after the rededication of Notre Dame.

We go to the battlefield.

John, the last week you've been reporting on Russia's making incremental advances,

significant incremental advances against Ukrainian forces.

We also talked about General Frost showing up, always a factor in Russia's campaigns during winter,

and we can presume in Ukraine after the casualty numbers that we've been discussing this evening, the question of manpower for Ukraine is obvious.

They're out of people. They're overwhelmed.

There's even a photograph on the front page of the telegraph showing a man in combat garb.

He's not armored up, but he's got his uniform on. And he only has one foot. The other foot is one of

those prosthetic devices that allow him to walk on the pavement. And he's walking in front of a display

of photographs of the dead and missing and wounded of his colleagues. It's exceedingly sad. At the same

time, it says that any frontline advances

by Ukraine are out of the question,

just out of the question.
