Midweek last week there was news. The Mr. Putin was in conversation with Mr. Erdogan,

the leader of Turkey and a member of NATO. And in that conversation, my understanding

was that Mr. Putin and Mr. Erdogan offered their services to arbitrate, saying that the

war between Hamas and Israel was in no one's interest. I do not believe there was any response,

but in any event, Mr. Putin has continued to look for opportunities to dialogue. I believe

within the last 24 hours of report was that President Putin had called Prime Minister

Netanyahu, he'd called President Abbas of the Palestinian Authority. He'd called Mr.

Cece, the President of Egypt. He'd called Riyadh and the UAE, all of the major players

involved, looking to offer his services. Now, this strikes many as ironic, given the war

fighting that's going on in Ukraine for 18 months. But there are turns here. Any search

for peace is a good search. And now, Katrina, come to you because you emphasize something

that I had not seen before you reported it, a working-level meeting of the nuclear

five in New York, and Russian representatives were present. This is last week, I believe.

What does that mean? What does the nuclear five? I know what they are, but what does this

mean that the Russians attended? Is this unusual?

Well, in fact, it was unusual because on the 4th of October and the dates are important

here. The Russian use said that the Russian delegation didn't receive American visas.

So the Israeli-Palestinian war started on the 7th of October, and then we received the

news that in the beginning of the week, it means about 10th of October. Russian delegation
