again we're reflecting on our own education's.

Fixing America's Civic Education Crisis.

It's not difficult, but there's money.

So let us go to, we have a system of federalism, state governments. I was pleased to see that four

states that I wouldn't have guessed already have civics in the middle school where it

belongs, right there. Six six seventh eight to nine I think my

memory is that I had to memorize explorers in America by the sixth grade maybe even the fifth grade.

Can you recall when you first learned those names, David?

No, I can't, but John what I do recall is I loved these books that were that existed in my childhood called

you were there or we were there so you were there at the Panama Canal you were were there on Pauliers Ride.

And this had a way of sort of not only

drawing me into the story of America, which

is in itself great, but it did familiarize

me with the explorers and the great stories.

Okay, we come now to what is a state's responsibility?
