I'm John Batsu with my colleague Bill Rajo of the Foundation for the Defense of Democracy

and our colleague David Diut of the Foundation for the Defense of Democracy,

were addressing Hezbollah much in the news these last weeks.

However, you always saw it off to the side where the focus was on Gaza,

the humanitarian suffering, the Egyptian sovereign border being violated routinely, we believe,

by the tunnels underneath the Philadelphia route, the ceasefire debates, the hostages either returned or found dead, all of that has been

dominating the world news, but it's Hezbollah that is now threatening what Israeli speakers

say is a wider escalation, noting that the U.S. is

concerned enough to send a special envoy Amos Hoekstein not only to

Jerusalem to talk to Mr Nantin Yahoo and his colleagues, but also to Beirut to talk to unknown.

David, tactics are for amateurs, logistics are for

professionals. I've been taught that about Ukraine. So I apply it to Hezbollah. How is the

resupply route that comes from Iran through Iraq through Syria into Lebanon. Is it intact? Has it been

interrupted in some fashion? Can it be in your measure? The Israelis over the

course of the past decade plus it's the onset of the war in Syria have tried to interrupt that route

It has had limited efficacy

Hezbollah's arsenal has continued to grow over the past decade.

But on the other hand, the Israelis haven't launched a full-scale

attack on this route to disrupt incoming weapons to Hezbollah.

But there's also a second element.

Hezbollah has a domestic weapons production capability

as well.
