This is CBSI in the world. I'm John Batch with my colleague Charles Burton in the McDonald

0:09.1

Lorry Institute. We're looking at the early days of the enmity between Ottawa and Delhi

0:17.5

over the allegation made by the Prime Minister in Parliament within these last hours about

0:23.9

a capital crime of a Canadian citizen in a parking lot in Canada by men who are wielding

0:31.2

automatic weapons who have not been apprehended. Charles, I wanted to speak to one thing I heard

0:36.4

on CBC this morning. We've spoken of the politics of this, the new Democratic Party, being

1:46.0

that all of those 24 members of Parliament from Saskatchewan are conservatives and not liberals.

1:52.6

And so, you know, they, they liberals don't have a lot to lose by alienating a region of

2:00.9

the country that has historically been very unlikely to vote for the Liberal Party. I mean,

2:07.2

Saskatchewan accounts for about half of Canada's $2 billion a year trade within India, primarily

2:14.5

agricultural commodities, such as lentils, which apparently the Indians consume quite a lot of.

2:19.5

So, this matter also impacts on Canadian national unity. And I think the premier Saskatchewan is
