Good afternoon and welcome everybody. This would be the Jeff Cameron show right here on 93.3. Real Talk Radio Warchant TV. Happy libations. Friday to all and, uh, hey, you know, I get to tell you.

I was reminded of it again yesterday and I'll be down there today, uh, hence the reason for the pre record. There it is. It's out of the way.

Um, I like softball, man. I've, I've gone all in. I watched six to four yesterday. I watched, uh, I watched that game and I thoroughly enjoyed it. And I thought to myself, like, I can watch this. I could just sit around and watch this on a regular basis. So, uh, as a note, there you go.

I was getting to win, tried to kind of throw it away a little bit, but that's a ranked team that they beat and a lot of fun to watch. And then Tom, I don't know if you watched, but it's still true. Um, you know, I know it's not for a state, but Tiger Woods with three birdies to in the day was really cool.

Like I think everybody enjoyed that. It was fun to watch. I got to tell you he looked good.

And it was borderline emotional at the end there. It was. He had to gather himself. It reminded me of when he won the tour championship just ahead of the masters again.

And it's that walk down the fairway at East Lake and Rory's getting mobbed because he's not walking up with Tiger. And then he has to calm himself, comport himself to finish off the victory at East Lake.

There was the same kind of look yesterday, which was, oh my God, I can't do this. There was doubt. And now there is no more doubt because he was hitting bombs left and right. And he said it.

That, you know, the fairway structure and the temperature and the weather out there at Riviera allows for the ball to roll out a little bit more for him to get some cheap distance.

I get a lot of roll out. He was carrying it 285 to 295 and the ball speed was up now that getting into the way too far into the weeds.

Let's just say that Tiger Woods can hit the ball. The distance necessary to win on the PGA tour still with an old body, one leg, but he's in pretty good shape.

Obviously Tiger always is in very good shape, but talking about the wear and tear up on a shoulder is back his legs.

He could still hit the ball far enough to win and he displayed touch yesterday, internament conditions and three birdies coming down the stretch.

Got everybody not misty eyed, but hopeful that, you know what, I think he's got another run at a win of some kind, maybe not a major, but he could win a tournament again.

I just think it's, you know, it's a sporting story. So I don't care if you like golf or not. I mean, it's a libations party. It is indeed Lucy, you see, we are just, you know, providing some fresh content here, but I, I got to be honest with you, as a sports fan, and that's really at the, at the root of it all, I'm a huge sports fan and was lucky enough to fall into a career.

What a cool story. It was awesome. And watching, I knew people who don't care about golf who were texting me yesterday, like, hey, are you watching this? Yeah, of course I'm watching this. And they were all kind of like, I got to admit, this is really cool to watch.

And Justin Thomas was on almost in tears and seeing the look on his face. And as when they were standing on the green on 18 and he's like, gotta calm everybody down like you said, it was really cool.

And I don't know, we want our heroes, even if they're not our personal heroes, even if they're not, I don't know, the people we look up to in life, but sports wise, we want them to have one last run.

There's always one last run as they retire. You know, you want Muhammad Ali to win that fight against Trevor Burmick. He didn't. He looked terrible. I wish I hadn't seen it.

You know, last week you and I were joking around about Willie Mays. I don't know how many people have watched the documentary on HBO about Willie Mays. It's really good.
