It's a metaphor, Todd.

They're talking about the evolution of humans and monkeys, and apparently the difference between like a gorilla and us is one of them anyway, is humans have a chin.

And we don't know why humans have a chin.

I don't know why.

I guess I've never looked into it, but scientists are looking into it.

And can't have, yeah, I've never looked closely at a gorilla face,

but they are kind of flat now that I think about it.

Yeah.

So what it says is... So the dead...

Do we need a chin to get smarter?

It may have been, you know, part of the blueprint as we evolve.

If we climb the evolutionary tree of life, this report says,

we could follow a twisting path that visits the increasingly specialized branches

that the species belong to.

We humans, for example, were animals before we became vertebrates,

mammals before evolving into primates, and so on.

And let me get to the most important part here.

Convertinged evolution, blah, blah, blah, blah.

The size of primate testicles gives us a classic example.

Abyssinian black and white colobus monkeys and bonnet macaque adult males are roughly
