Matt and Ben and Susan all debate the existence of vampires as two of our cotet end up down for the count.

Matt with a heart attack and Ben with an unfortunate case of getting his ass kicked.

Matt, what did you think of this week's reading?

Very fun.

I feel like we are getting to the promise of this particular premise where we have our characters learning of the fact of these supernatural creatures in their town and reacting to

them in really the realistic way that you would react if you had if you found yourself into this

situation. And this is like the this is like the one of the more fun things that Stephen King does

actually is pose these situations and then work through like okay well how how would you behave how would you

react yeah i think it's also one of the things that's unique to the novel as a storytelling format

i think you can get away with kind of spending two entire chapters really diving into

what what would a person do when presented with this information and how would they react

and how how is one convinced of the existence of supernatural i just don't think a movie has time

for that kind of thing or like a novel is just so drawn out like and it's so interior to the

characters that you really get to explore these things and And King takes full advantage of that here, absolutely.

It's just so fun, yep.
