I've been thinking a lot about this and I don't normally get into the Greek stuff

that often or like dig down that deep on some scriptural stuff.

Yeah.

But it is interesting.

So Jesus says his yoke is easy.

Now, is it?

Like every English translation is easy, easy is that fair to say that if you team up with Jesus like his way of living is easy he said easy or did he so it comes from the Greek word crestos and I read a pretty long deep dive journal article basically saying he couldn't have meant easy for two reasons. crestos isn't translated easy in other

contexts in the New Testament so why would we translate it that way here it's usually

translated something like kind.

Okay, so all right. And the other reason is he couldn't have meant easy because we all know his way is not easy.

So that's a circular argument right there.

So I dismiss that argument.

The other argument, like, okay, that might have some validity.

Maybe he meant, maybe we should translate a kind, my way is kind. But you know what? Right before that he says my burden is light and so I went into the

Greek for what does that mean? And every trans every Greek like like a definite every definition of the Greek there says easy to carry.

Well there's that e-word again.

Yeah, easily done.
