And today we're going to talk about histamine, allergies, liver function,

and also a very important condition that's associated with histamine known as

mast cell activation syndrome. And then we're going to wrap it up,

talking about the foods that we may consume on a daily basis

that has high histamine content. So first of all, what is histamine?

Histamine is a neurochemical. It's a chemical produced by our cells in our body

that actually acts as a cell mediator. It actually calls other cells in

to help handle a problem, especially when you're handling bacteria or parasites.

When your body has an infection, your body uses certain types of cells

to actually call in other cells to help clean up an issue.

So histamine is often associated with high allergic response.

Histamine can create symptoms such as arrhythmia, anxiety,

high heart rate, nausea, vomiting, fur to go. Any type of condition of the gut,
