battery plant in China. Volkswagen Anoui components, VWAC, as I'll refer to them, has

commenced producing high voltage battery packs in China, essential for their MAB platform

cars over there. The battery system has all the cell modules, the cell management controllers,

the battery management systems, the BMSs, etc. Ninety-six percent of those components all sourced

locally, which of course reduces price, a crucial thing for anyone making these vehicles in China.
