welcome to the broadcast to today's game between the Oakland A's and a Boston Red Sox.

One Marichell be pitching against the open days in regular league competition for the very first time.

The A is a batted against him a little bit in spring training over the years when he's

with the San Francisco Giants.

But today the money's on the line and pick money it might be too for the giant cast off one marathon because the bus and

red trucks look right now to be the strong favorite to win the eastern division in

the American League and the A's in the West even though they both have

formidable opponents still coming. Cleveland won their game today coming from behind to

beat the white Sox but Kansas City is going to walk. Milwaukee again today it looks

like the Royal to won seven of the last eight ball game

but still it picked up only two games on the A's but that's two pretty big games to pick up

and that one week's time are coming hard now. They've got a little Eastern Road Trip ahead of

them as do the A's when they get through with this one. Today the Red Sox have a record

of 62 wins and 51 losses. The Oakland A's are 67 and 48.
