The Dodgers and the San Diego Padres meeting

for the final time in San Diego Stadium,

and it's hot.

The temperature should get around the 90-200-degree mark

here for the ball game this afternoon.

The pitches will be left-hander, Claude Osteen,

and right-hander Steve Arlen.

This is the final meeting of the year for the two clubs in San Diego.

They have a two-game series later in the week

in Los Angeles on Wednesday and Thursday.

The Dodgers have won seven in a row here in San Diego

and are now trying to sweep the series from the Padres

and all of the ball games played here.
