It is a beautiful baseball afternoon here. This is a complete

sellout crowd. It's a national holiday in Canada. It is Victoria Day. It is Queen Victoria's birthday and today is also observed as the birthday

of the present reigning Queen, although it actually isn't, but it is a legal national holiday

and the stander packed in jam here this afternoon. The capacity of this stadium is 28,456.

We might very well have more than that here because already,

fans just standing out beyond a low wire outfield fence.

The biggest crowd ever in the history of this ballpark was slightly more than 29,100 on

opening day of the season when the St Louis Cardinals year would open up against the Montreal Expos.
