connecting with Walt Podcast. I am your host and Diz historian Michael Bowling. And I am joined by my co-host, executive producer and good friend Craig Williams. Craig, how are you today?

I'm doing fantastic tonight. Great.

Well, you know, back in episode 112, way back then, Dave Bossert and Alan Coates joined us to talk about the start of their Indiegogo campaign for their book.

Hall to the Haunted Mansion and beyond. And we are delighted to welcome them back now that

the campaign has been a success and the book is soon to be published. So Dave began his career at the Walt Disney Studio as an in-betweener in the effects department

on the Black Cauldron and moved up to an effects animator on the Great Mouse Detective

who framed Roger Rabbit, Oliver and Company, tummy troubled, a little mermaid, roller coaster

rabbit, and rescuers down under.

He then became a supervising effects animator on Beauty and the Beast, and it continued

doing effects animation on Aladdin, The Nightmare Before Christmas, The Lion King, Pocahontas,

Runaway Brain, with additional effects supervision on the hunchback of Notre Dame and Hercules,

before being promoted to visual

effects supervisor on Fantasia 2000. He then began working on special projects for the theme

parks and was part of the creative team for World of Color and the Seven Dwarfs'

mind train and other attractions at Disney theme parks around the world.
