In the five years that the Notre Dame fighting Irish have been coached by Araparsigian.

In the four meetings of Southern California on Notre Dame, the Irish have won two, the Trojans have won two.

In 1964, Notre Dame led in this football game their first first year under Aero Parsegian.

They led 17 to nothing, but Southern California came back to win that ballgame 20 to 17.

In 65, the Irish prevailed 28 to 7.

That ballgame was played at South Bend, Indiana.

Then in 1966, the national championship year, for the Fighting Irish, it was 51 to nothing.
