Elmer, what are you looking for in this game tonight in the general styles of attack and defense?

Well, like any old football player, Mel, the first thing I look for is weather conditions and field conditions.

Of course, the fields is an ideal shape.

There has been no rain down here.

It rained about two days ago.

For about an hour, the temperature at game time here is 78 degrees.

The humidity is 79 percent. The wind is from the south of nine miles per hour, and of course the forecast is for fair weather and fair weather we have had.

This orange gold crowd, when they do a job, they do it well. They've had several parties and functions before the game for these teams.

They've been wonderful.

And of course the weatherman has cooperated fully in bringing up a wonderful evening of football weather.

From the Georgia Tech team, I expect to see offensively a very fast football team, extremely fast back.

Fast end, a very fast moving club.

And, of course, from the Florida Gators, one thing I do expect to see is a very fine quarterback,

the Heitman Trophy winner, and an All-America selection, Steve Furrier, the fine quarterback of the Florida Gators, Mel.

These two teams are both explosive.

Georgia Tech, for example, has a backup quarterback to King by the name of Larry Good.

He runs with the ball more than King does.

And Harmon Wages, who backs up Spurrier, isn't as spectacular, but still

is a very sound and very alert football player. The two teams stack up from a standpoint of weight,

the offensive line, where Georgia is the 214 pounds.
