Welcome to October.

I love the month of October.

It just, it's just such a beautiful new season.

It's such a gift to get to be alive. And y'all, I turn 50 this month.

I'm so excited for that opportunity. I don't hate it. I love it. Like, hello. It's a gift. It's a gift to

get to be alive. Welcome to October. So I sat down this morning and I was working on the devotional to share with you

and we've been studying Romans. We are in chapter 8 this week and I came to the next verse which I knew

I wanted to write a devotional on and quite honestly it's a scripture that is familiar. It's a

scripture that many people memorize and quote Romans 8 verse 28. Some of you probably already know it.

But I think it's kind of lost its wow on me because it has become so familiar.

Today we want to go back to this scripture that is just truly a game changer on our journey.

And we want to look at this scripture as if it's our first time ever seen it.

And it's a scripture that holds a promise.

And I want you to think about October, this new month of life that God has given us

being covered in this promise from God.
