Game three, for all even up, they have split the first two games in St. Louis, and now it's Yankee

Stadium. The Yankees have three games in a row in their own ballpark.

If they sweep all three, the series, of course, would be over. The Cardinals, by winning at least

one of these three games, can force the series back to St. Louis. The weather started out to be a

clear sunny day this morning, and now it is overcast, and it is chilly here and windy at Yankee Stadium.

The temperature is in the 50s.

We have a 15-mile-an-hour wind blowing from third base toward first base.

In every game played so far in the series, the breeze has been a factor,

and it is going to cause trouble today on fly balls and pop-ups,

and batters who get the ball up in the air toward right field today are going to be given a big boost.

So we'll be calling the win for you as the game progresses, but it is very definitely a factor in this game.
