Now this first World Series game is being brought to you from Boyce Stadium in St. Louis, Missouri.

It was cut yesterday. And the infield here in St. Louis is known to be fast, so you'll see some balls scooting

right on through there.

The umpires have just come up and behind a plate it'll be Frank Sicori of the National

League.

At first base it'll be Phil McKinley of the American League.

At second base it'll be Ken Perkhart, who was also a pitcher on a 1946 World Series Cardinal team.

Angstor of the American League will be at third base.

In left field, on the foul line, it'll be Vinnie Smith, and in right field it will be Al Smith.

The umpires will rotate. Remember it used to be that The umpires will rotate.

They will all have a turn behind home plate.

And of course, the game goes more than four.
