As you're building an online business, one of the key things that all of us need to do is create authority so that people actually want to pay attention to us, listen to us, hear what we have to say.

In this episode, I want to talk about how I created a digital magazine to help me to take my authority to another level.

I want to explain the power all of us have to reach out to people to help bring our credibility up to another level.

Let me explain what I'm talking about because people are like, Gary, what on earth are you talking about right now?

I had been running the Female Entrepreneur Association for a little under a year.

I had started to build my email list. I was networking, creating those connections. I'd

hosted my first event. Momentum was definitely building. So I wanted to figure out what could I do

to create more authority? What could I do to help, like, increase my authority in this space to get

people to know me as like, oh, Carrie Green, she does this. Like when you know the editor of a

magazine, they are a person in a position of power. People want to know that editor of that magazine

because that person could create exposure for other people and so decided that I was going to create

a digital magazine and I was going to do it for free because I had some money blocks. I created

this digital magazine,

which originally was called This Girl Means Business,

and then changed to She Means Business.

The people we associate ourselves with

can help to raise our profile.

I was like, if I can be seen to be associated

with people who are far more successful than me,

it'll help raise my profile and credibility

because people will start seeing me alongside those people.

So I made this wish list of people that I wanted to interview from like best-selling authors to really successful entrepreneurs
