The Gillette Cavalcades Sports is on the air. Oh, I'm going to Oh, good. Good afternoon, great-for fans. This is Bob Neal and Ebbets Field in Brooklyn,

where we're set to bring you the sixth game of the World Series between the New York

Yankees and the Brooklyn Dodgers.

Broadcasting these World Series games is a part of Gillette's continuous cavalcade of

port which joined the air features such outstanding events as the Rose Bowl game, Blue Gray game,

Kentucky Derby, all-star baseball game, and the fight of the week every Friday night.

It's another beautiful day here in Ebbetsville with the sun shining widely, the temperature in the upper 60s,

and the wind, which has been a factor in a couple of the games played so far, is again today going to be a factor,

because it's blowing out of the northwest and the

velocity they tell us will reach somewhere near 25 miles per hour at game time.

The wind is blowing out towards right center field and here in Ebbets

feel at right center field line is a very attractive thing for left-headed

batteries. The right field foul line 297 feet's a 40 foot fence that goes up straight up.

But that has been no deterrent to these great hitters so far.

Down on the field now, the two starting pitchers are starting to loosen up.

This is the sixth game of the world series.

That's the official title that they've given this game today, but there's much more than just the sixth game being discussed.

The Dodgers and the Yankees and everybody in

baseball is still talking today about the once in a lifetime performance of

Don Larson with his now world famous no hit no run no walk game the first perfect game in world series

Larson has been to speak certainly not only by fans but my newspaper people

getting autographs this morning when he came out of the Yankee
